Company Overview

Scott BrannanScottbrannan Ltd was established in 2014, after seeing a gap in the market to provide estimation support to medium size companies within Europe. I have worked within the Cost Estimation field since 2002.  I am fully conversant with the latest estimation techniques and can offer support in most companies from electronics to machined components and more. During my career I have been involved with setting up the Cost Estimation system currently being used at Aston Martin Lagonda.   I have also assisted the Ford Motor Company in a radical overhaul of the Database used by Ford globally.

Partnerships & Achievements

My first assignment was as a consultant working on a collaborative venture between the UK Government and Rolls Royce Engines (Sharing in Growth). The project was aimed at setting up Estimation System and providing support to Rolls Royce`s First Tier Supplier’s ensuring the competitive advantage helps them both win and retain business in their sector.

My experience is varied having worked for TRW Steering, estimating an entire steering systems. Providing benchmarking estimates, future model costing and process improvement working with their Suppliers. Whilst at TRW I managed to generate a projected saving worth €15 million in 2013.  At Aston Martin I was in charge of estimating the entire Electrical System, Safety and some Driveline components.  The components ranged from Wiring Systems, Satellite Navigating Unit, Engine ECU, Airbags right through to Headlights. At Jaguar Landrover I have estimated Suspension Parts and Infotainment Systems.

My Goal

To develop a strong working relationship with clients. Enabling my client to gain a full understanding of costs both internal and external.  Ensuring powerful negotiations can take place with both Suppliers and Customers alike. Guaranteeing business is gained and retained.
